Our mission at usCops.net is to:
| |||||||
|
usCops.net was created, for several reasons, by people with a common goal. usCops was envisioned to provide revenue for Officer Survival Initiative (OSI), a non-profit pending corporation established in Virginia that anticipates being nationwide. OSI is a Law Enforcement and Corrections-specific organization. We are non-profit because we understand the budgetary constraints of people in this industry, so we created usCops.net as a means for mutual cooperation and benefit. Through an alliance with Lek, Inc. of Florida, we are able to provide discounted Web site hosting and flexibility that is not possible with other hosting providers. So, we help Law Enforcement entities host their sites inexpensively through usCops.net; the money supports a Law Enforcement non-profit organization; and OSI facilitates training of Law Enforcement members in officer survival. The arrangement helps everybody. There is no catch to any of this, either. Unlike other hosting companies that offer cheap hosting, we don't require a banner on your site, or limit your services. For example, if you have an association, and you want to provide e-mail at your domain for your members, we will set you up with an e-mail server and free access to Web mail with your logo at no additional charge. We understand that associations live and die by the penny - we want you to keep as many as possible. We also recognized a need for Law Enforcement officers to easily find each other. Therefore, as part of our concept, we created a database of our members, categorized and searchable. We also sub-divide our members by state, so if you want to search for only those people in a certain state, youÕre only one domain away. And, since they are members of usCops.net, and have to meet our criteria to host, you know they will be Law Enforcement specific. If you have any other questions, please feel free to e-mail us at questions@usCops.net or go to our question form Thank you for visiting. We hope to see you back soon.
